The Icon Display Node in Node Code Studio enables users to add a visual element by displaying an icon directly on the node board. This node is ideal for creating visually distinct markers or symbols, making the workflow more engaging and easier to interpret.
How It Works
- Icon Selection: Users can select from a variety of icons. By default, the node displays a right arrow icon, but this can be customized.
- Interactive Icon Display: The selected icon is displayed prominently on the node board, acting as a visual representation or label for specific parts of the workflow.
- On-Board Controls: Users can click on the node to access additional controls, such as an icon selector to change the icon or a delete button to remove the node.
Using the Icon Display Node
- Drag the Icon Display Node onto the node board.
- Click the node to reveal the controls, then click the pencil icon to open the Icon Selector.
- Select an icon from the available options in the Icon Selector. The chosen icon will be displayed on the node.
- Use the delete button to remove the node if needed.
The Icon Display Node adds a new layer of customization and visual organization to workflows, helping users quickly identify different sections or highlight important nodes with meaningful icons.
